TACMOD FORTE OINTMENT USES –
Tacmod Forte 0.1% Ointment is an immunosuppressant. It works by suppressing the activity of certain immune cells that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) of the skin. This relieves itching and improves rashes in atopic dermatitis.
It is used to treat atopic dermatitis (dry and itchy skin; also called eczema) of moderate to severe grade.
TACMOD FORTE OINTMENT WORKS-
Tacrolimus topical belongs to a class of medications called as immunomodulating agents. It works by treating atopic dermatitis by blocking calcineurin, a chemical responsible for activation of the inflammation in skin causing redness and itching.
HEALTH ADVICE-
-Children < 16 must not use.-
Do not allow tacrolimus to come in contact with your eyes, mouth or other inner skin layer (mucous membranes). In case of accidental contact, wash immediately with cool water.
