Estriol prescribed to women who are suffering from atrophic vaginitis (vaginal atrophy) which is a common vaginal symptom of the menopause, caused by a lack of oestrogen production by the ovaries.It is also used before and after vaginal operations to help in wound healing.
EVALON 1 MG TABLET WORKS –
Estriol belongs to a class of drugs called estrogens. As a part of the hormone replacement therapy, it works by maintaining the estrogen levels in the body in menopausal women. It also reduces the vaginal wall from becoming thin and dry thereby reducing inflammation.

Abnormal vaginal bleeding, Flushing, Gastrointestinal disturbance, Headache, Decreased white blood cell count, Nausea, Vomiting
