How Minokem Spray works
USES – Azelaic acid gel is used to treat the bumps, an area of abnormal tissue change (lesions), and swelling caused by rosacea (a skin disease that causes redness, flushing, and pimples on the face). Azelaic acid cream is used to treat pimples (acne) and melasma (dark patches over facial skin). & Minoxidil topical is used for the treatment of alopecia androgenetica (male pattern hereditary hair loss) in men and women by preventing hair loss and promoting hair regrowth. & Tretinoin is topically used to treat acne (pimples), rough texture of facial skin, reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and mottled skin discoloration.
WORK – Azelaic acid belongs to a class of medications called as dicarboxylic acids. It treats pimples by killing the bacteria that cause infection of skin pores and by decreasing production of keratin, a natural substance that can lead to the development of pimples. It reduces production of dark pigment in skin (melanin) and helps in melasma. The way azelaic acid works to treat rosacea is not known. & Minoxidil belongs to the class of medications called as vasodilators. It stimulates hair growth in early and moderate stages of hereditary hair loss (alopecia androgenetica) by increasing the diameter of the hair shaft and stimulating and prolongating the growth phase of hair follicle (anagen). Minoxidil enhances blood flow to hair follicles thereby stimulating the growth. & Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A and belongs to a group of medications called as retinoids. It helps the skin to renew itself (causing peeling) and prevents skin inflammation.
